Granada is one of my favorite places. Perhaps because as a child I already imagined playing princesses and princes, yes, very particular, in their patios and gardens.
I think that anyone who passes through Granada and does not enter to see such an architectural complex has no forgiveness.
It seems incredible that this small city was conceived as a military fortress, although from its exterior facades they may seem so. Inside, all the magic floods the walls and capitals and the sound of the water seduces from the Generalife and partal gardens to the interior.
The Alcazaba is more sober and older. with origins in the eleventh century, its exterior doors and its towers. Do not avoid visiting it in detail, since from its towers the views are unique, especially from the Torre de Armas from where the entire city of Granada is contemplated.
Obviously, all of you will want to run to see the palaces of the lions and that of Comares and finally that of Partal. All the patios are beautiful. First of all, I recommend patience: you can see everything in 2 or 3 hours, but the rush is very bad, let yourself be invaded by the serene spirit that lives there.
I suggest to photography and drawing lovers that you take a whole afternoon. the rush is for our daily routine 🙂 you have to stop in the beautiful places.
The pity is that the last time I visited the Alhamabra I still had my old digital camera, so I cannot show any of the splendid images that I got. Does anyone upload any?
